Rock ‘n’ roll is back and it’s dangerous
Having put in hours on the road doing things the hard way, southern quartet Circus 66 have refined their razor sharp and raw hard rocking sound into something capable of flattening small towns. Fronted by the extraordinary siren call of Annabelle Zaychenko, the four-piece bring an undisputable swagger to their anthemic material, the riffs crushing but matched with irresistibly huge hooks. Providing the dazzling fretwork, master craftsman Matt Pearce brings both style and power in his playing as bass player Luke Ward and drummer Leigh Holley lay down a locomotive powered drive that both pummels and swings.
With critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Follow the Black Crow, behind them already, their sophomore follow-up ‘Elements’ is ready to be launched onto the world and promises to shake things up even further. Stretching their wings, this new release sees Circus 66 bring new tones into their sound as kaleidoscopic hues and patterns explode from the speakers. Ready to take this new beast back on the road, the band already have a number of festival dates lined up and a full tour is being lined-up for the autumn. There’s never been a better time to run off and join the Circus.
